Becky Hill (30) was born in Bewdley, UK and became famous for her participation in the first series of The Voice UK talent competition in 2012. The main breakthrough of her career came in 2014, when she became famous with the song “Gecko (Overdrive)” by producer Oliver Heldens. Their collaborative single reached number one on the UK’s best hit chart. Following this success, other producers noticed her as a significant young talent and collaborations with stars such as David Guetta, Wilkinson, Matoma, MK and Chase & Status followed.
Becky Hill has also demonstrated her talent for writing lyrics and composing catchy melodies. She has written numerous songs for herself and other artists. Some of her own hits include “Better Off Without You”, “Back to My Love” and “Sunrise in the East”. Her fans may also know her for mega hits such as “Lose Control”, “Afterglow” and “Piece of Me”. With her powerful voice, captivating stage presence and heartfelt lyrics, she has been on the top of the music charts for many years, charming audiences all over the world.
Visitors can enjoy her performance on the Love Stage at the Beats for Love Festival on Saturday 6 July 2024, the same day as the show of David Guetta and the duo Chase & Status, with whom Becky has created successful hits such as “Remember” and “Disconnect”.
