The best dance festival in Czechia and Slovakia? Meet Beats for Love!

Music enthusiasts and the general public once again had the opportunity to decide with their votes which music event and which artists belong at the very top of the Czech and Slovak music scene. For the first time, the Bass Awards prize for the best Czech and Slovak outdoor music festival goes to the organisers of the Ostrava festival Beats for Love.

The Beats for Love festival, which this summer celebrates its 10th anniversary, has throughout its existence taken place in the grounds of the Lower Vítkovice area, which gives the whole event its unique atmosphere. It is no coincidence that the event bears the title of the Biggest Dance Festival in the Heart of Europe. Thanks to its size, its number of visitors, its star-studded line-up and its varied supporting programme, it rightfully ranks among the best outdoor events on the European music scene. Besides the current Bass Awards 2023 prize, this is also confirmed by the festival’s recent nomination among the 10 best European festivals in the European Festival Awards 2023.

“Besides the fact that these awards make us very happy, they also represent a great commitment for the future towards our visitors and fans,” explains festival director Kamil Rudolf. “We would like to thank all our supporters for their support and loyalty.
