Dj duo W&W will entertain its fans at the Beats for love
W&W is a Dutch tandem formed by Willem van Hanege Jr. and Ward van der Harst (Re-Ward). Since its inception in 2007, W&W’s collaborative output ranges between the genres of progressive house, big room, hardstyle and trance. This year they will perform in Ostrava’s Dolní Vítkovice as part of the Beats for Love festival for the first time in their entire career. Visitors can enjoy their live set on the first day of the festival, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Love stage by ČSOB.
W&W are regularly ranked at the top of the DJ Mag TOP 100 Djs. They founded their own label “Mainstage music” (later renamed to “Rave Culture” and “Dystopia”), where besides their own singles they also produce singles by other artists such as Armin van Buuren, Maurice West, Sick Individuals and many more.
W&W have developed a signature sound over the years, making their work easily recognisable. The tracks they produce are often based on memorable melodies, massive drops and infectious beats that electrify the atmosphere on any dancefloor.
Their popularity has risen thanks to dance hits such as “Bigfoot”, “Rave After Rave”, “Distant Memory” and “Thunder”, with which W&W have dominated club and festival stages around the world. They have headlined many world-class events such as Tomorrowland (NL), Ultra Music (USA/HR) and Electric Daisy Carnival (USA). This July, their dynamic live set can be enjoyed by all visitors to the 10th anniversary edition of Beats for Love. Will you be among them?
